What’s it all about?

Join the ILCAVIC community for a Boatspeed Camp Intensive—a long weekend of sailing, learning, laughing, and fanging it faster! This camp is perfect for all ILCA sailors, especially those new to the class or stepping up to bigger goals.

Through games, skill experiments, and shared speed tips, we’ll help you accelerate your learning and boost your confidence on the water. You’ll leave tired, happy, and faster—with more mates and more skills to keep improving together.

No matter your current level, we’ve got you covered. With coaching support tailored to those transitioning, developing, advancing, and excelling, this is your chance to level up—while having a blast.

🕒 Program Schedule

• Friday: Arrive from 12 noon, first session Friday afternoon
  

• Saturday & Sunday: On-water from 10:00am – full program wraps by 4:00pm Sunday

💥 The more who register, the bigger the coaching team. Can we beat our record of 52 participants?

🛶 Bring your own ILCA – or hire one of our five available boats (first in, best dressed!)

💡 No cancelled sessions – there's always something to learn, people to meet, and fun to be had.

Extras & Good Times

🚲 Bring a bike! Start your mornings with a group ride (any type—road, gravel, MTB). Some legs roll fast… try to stay on their wheel to the coffee shop!

🍕 Friday Night
We’ve booked the big hall at the club for a pizza night + social session. Everyone chips in. We’ll have some fun, get to know each other, and share info about the U21 ILCA Worlds (Sandringham, Jan 2027) and our longer-term program vision toward 2032.

🍽️ Saturday Night
We’re planning a big crew dinner at the Portarlington Grand Hotel. Let us know if you’d like to be included in the booking (individual payment).
