What’s it all about?

Big goals are best chased with mates. This is your chance to be part of a high-performance ILCAVIC team culture—where everyone works hard, supports each other, and develops faster together.

Through the ILCAVIC All You Can Eat Bundle, you’ll gain structure, coaching, and community to accelerate your growth and build competitive advantage.    Whether you're targeting local wins or a path to the 2032 Olympics, this is your launchpad.

And there’s never been a better time—we’ve got an awesome runway of domestic sailing ahead, there is even more you can take on if you can get overseas also.

Locally the stars are aligned; there are great events in our backyard and just over the fence.

🛫 Big Summers Incoming: The Runway to 2027

Get ready for an epic stretch of racing, learning, and fanging it faster. These back-to-back events are the perfect targets to train for, peak at, and make friends and memories that last a lifetime. The knowledge and skills you develop will set you up for an amazing long long life of joyful sailing with friends and community on any type of boat. On the ILCA you get to do it all: strategise, steer, trim, hike, race - it’s on you, and how well you can crush that negative voice on your shoulder.

(We would like to revamp the approach to key events; our goal is to develop independent thinkers and performers; to achieve this will be training participants to be dropping gear bags on other support craft such as the race committee boat. Additionally, if feasible, we see a model where we could develop a little squad of parent volunteers on the water, assistants carry gear bags for squads, both of these initiatives would help to free up coaches to have more time in the action, and assist participants to learn how to perform with no direct assistance at all - ideal).
